Who I am
About
I'm a developer who likes making things that are both fast and correct. I co-founded and currently lead a team of Midnight blockchain developers at LucentLabs, a software outsourcing agency, architecting privacy-preserving DeFi protocols in Rust and Compact.
Alongside that, I'm co-founding SwiftGigs, a service marketplace startup. On the web side I cover the full stack: React and Next.js on the frontend, Node.js and Express on the backend, and I'm comfortable containerizing services with Docker for lightweight deployment and hosting.
I was selected on merit as the only Midnight Aliit Fellow representing Nigeria and Africa in Cohort 0, and I share what I learn through open-source DApps and a YouTube series on building with Midnight.

Where I've worked
Experience
Co-founding a service marketplace startup connecting skilled gig workers with clients, handling product and engineering.
Current technical founding lead, building KnightShield, an installable PWA Midnight wallet live at knightshieldedwallet.tech, together with Matt Cobbert. Owning engineering across the wallet app and its open-source codebase.
Co-founded LucentLabs and lead a team of 3 Midnight blockchain developers across multiple privacy-preserving DeFi products, including Statera, HydraStake, Midnight Launchpad, FundAGoal, and ckb-dex, owning architecture, code review, and Compact smart contract implementation.
Built on-chain lending logic for a fully shielded lending protocol (loan creation, liquidity provision, borrowing, and repayment) with testnet-driven testing that cut contract failure risk by 95%.
Led backend engineering with Node.js and Express, and drove SEO strategy for client sites (including detopsyelectricalshops.com), improving search visibility and organic traffic. Containerized services with Docker for lightweight, repeatable deployment and hosting.

Won the Finance Track building HydraStake, a privacy-preserving liquid staking protocol with derivative staking tokens, as part of the LucentLabs team.

Aug 2025
1st place with a 4-member LucentLabs team building Statera, an overcollateralized DeFi stablecoin protocol with fully private user metadata.
Won the African Blockchain Championship: FundAGoal

Jul 2025
Won 1st place in the Midnight track of the African Blockchain Championship with FundAGoal, a privacy-focused campaign funding DApp enabling 95% anonymous campaign creation and funding.
